Being the youngest Pevensie sibling in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (gn!reader)
A/N: This will be set in the first movie, maybe I will do more parts for the next ones other time. Reader is going to be 1-2 years younger than Lucy (so 7 or 6 years old). This gif is not mine and english is not my first language, sorry for any mistakes!
Helen (Mrs. Pevensie) said goodbye to you in the train station after all your siblings, she kissed your forhead and said "Be good Y/N, listen to your brothers and sisters"
Everyone squeezed each other as they looked out of the train's window, saying goodbye to your mother one last time
When the train arrived at the destination, every kid was picked up, and you and your siblings were the last ones
You got tired after waiting a long time, so Peter carried you
No matter your gender, I think you would share rooms (with Edmund or Susan and Lucy) at Professor Kirke's house, but if that isn't possible you would have a room for yourself near your siblings
Or one of the eldest would sleep in the couch (probably Peter)
Discovering the wardrobe with Lucy:
The youngest often follows their older siblings
Since Peter was counting when playing hide and seek, Susan hid in a trunk and Edmund didn't want anyone with him, you followed Lucy
When both of you went in the room and found this thing covered in cloth, you were immedeatly curious
Lucy took the cloth off revealing a wardrobe, and gave you a look before entering, Peter was almost done counting
You entered the wardrobe and almost closed the door, you and Lucy looked through the small opening and then it closed completely
When some strange things touched your hands, you were confused
Until turning around and finding an amazing place covered in snow
Lucy grabbed your hand
"Stay close to me"
You walked to the light post and screamed when a strange creature appeared
Few seconds went by when your sister started walking and grabbed one of the packages the creature dropped and gave it to it, you did the same thing
After some talking, it was discovered that the creature was a faun, who thought the little humans were dwarfs
"I'm not a dwarf! I'm a girl! And actually, I'm the tallest in my class" -Lucy
Then he asked if you were children of Adam and Eve
"Well, our mum's name is Helen"
He said you were human, and seemed afraid while saying that
Lucy explained how you got there
Some time after, you found out the faun is called Mr.Tumnus
You spent time in his home, but he rushed Lucy and you back to the light post
You were both back in the room with the wardrobe, and it seemed you appeared in the exact moment you left
Edmund was still in his hiding spot and Peter approached the three
When you and Lucy tried to explain everything, they didn't believe you
Discovering the wardrobe with the rest of the siblings:
When Peter started counting, you looked around the room some seconds before running to a door
You ended up hiding under a couch in a hallway
When Lucy came back and tried to tell everyone about Narnia, nobody believed her except you
But after seeing the woods, they apologized to you two
Now your relationship with each Pevensie sibling
Peter Pevensie
He would be the most protective, since you are the youngest
I'm not sure if he knows how to play chess, but if he does, he would teach you
He would also read you stories before bed
Susan Pevensie
Would teach you lots of things
Makes you read books that can teach you something useful (in her words)
I feel both of you plus Lucy would learn to bake together before the war happened
Edmund Pevensie
Would bother you and make jokes, but not in a really harmful way (he wouldn't literally bully you)
I think he would also be protective
And be like: You can't make fun of my little siblings, only I can!
Lucy Pevensie
Since she is the closest in age to you, you would have the best relationship from all the siblings
But that doesn't mean you aren't close with the others
Lucy is your playmate
Play time is always fun, because the imagination both of you have is big
The last scenes (this one will be short because I don't have much ideas, and I don't know what your gift from the santa would be)
You were at the stone table, the place where Aslan died, with your older sisters
When Lucy helped Edmund with her gift you were so relieved
Everyone hugged, and they were all very happy
Then the coronation came
You were nervous but excited
By how I imagine the youngest Pevensie is (creative, with a big imagination, kind, extrovert and how she acted before and in Narnia), I think you would be named something like King/Queen/Monarch Y/N the Believer or Dreamer
Aslan was gone, that made you sad, greatly
Many years went by and life was great
Everyone grew up
One day, you and your siblings were hunting a stag when you found the wardrobe
The five of you entered it
And suddenly you were in Professor Kirke's house again, as children

Memories Feel Like Weapons
Edmund Pevensie x gn!reader
Summary: âPeople can be different. They can change. Youâve changed.â Gently, you use your pointer finger to hook his chin and turn his face towards you, making him look you in the eye. âYouâre a good king, Edmund, and an even better man. A good brother. A good boyfriend. Everyone has forgiven you for what you did as a child.â A/N: What's up, y'all?! It's been freezing these past few days and I hate it! 𼴠So this is for all you other lovelies who are currently being plagued by SAD đŤśđ˝ Also, in case it's not clear in the fic, for the purposes of the story, we're just gonna assume that reader's parents also sent them off to the country during the war to stay with the professor, that they met the Pevensie's there, and went to Narnia with them. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! â¤ď¸ Warnings: Edmund has SAD but it's Narnia so it's never actually called that, the author is (once again) overusing commas
As interesting and as magical a place as Narnia is, youâre willing to admit that diplomatic negotiations are something that usually bore you to tears.
You try to take an interest, you really do, for Edmundâs sake. Political wheeling and dealing is his bread and butter. Youâre not particularly adept at it yourself. Edmund has tried to explain the finer points to you many times, but itâs not something that you can wrap your head around. But maybe thatâs just because you get too distracted thinking about how good looking your tutor is. Sometimes you raise a question or a particular point that you know heâll jump to answer just to see how passionately he talks about his favorite subject. As far as you know, he hasnât caught on yet.
Today proves to be different, though.
A chill in the air greets you when you awake. A crackling sound from the corner tells you that a servant has crept in at some point and started a fire in the hearth to stave off the cold. Blinking to adjust your eyes to the light, youâre greeted by the type of cold, white sunlight that announces a wintery morning and the seasonâs signature magical touch that often appears overnight â snow.
You leap out of bed, gasping when your feet kiss the cold floor. Hurrying to put on slippers, you wrap yourself in a fluffy robe and hurry to the door.
Edmund hates the winter. He hates the snow even more. No one can blame him for that. But youâre the only person heâs confessed this to.
Sure, his siblings might suspect as much. Those first few years in Narnia, no one dared suggest that they play in the snow whenever it arrived, for fear of what it might imply, and for fear of inadvertently upsetting the youngest Pevensie brother. After a few more years, he would find excuses to be tucked away in his library on snowy days, and no one would breathe a word of the fun they had without him while he was around. A delicate subject and a fine dance around it, to say the least.
It was only last winter that Edmund confided in you, and only because you had recently become a couple. He said the winter was hard enough on its own, but the snow brought back too many bad memories, ushered in nightmares so vivid that he sometimes woke up questioning what was real and what wasnât.
This is going to be a rough day for him, to say the least. Which puts a damper on the mood, since ambassadors from a nearby kingdom are arriving to negotiate trade â something he was so looking forward to.
âEdmund?â Your voice seems too loud for the quiet library, and the echo makes you flinch slightly at the loudness of your own voice, at the desperate quality it holds.
Stepping further inside the room, you listen, and tune into the crackling of the fireplace along the far wall. You follow it until you can see the chairs in front of it, and in one of them, Edmund, slumped over a large tome, asleep.
Heâll have a crick in his neck from sleeping that way, you think. If you hadnât known why he was here, finding him in his favorite place like this would be sweet. It still tugs on your heartstrings, yes, but in a different, heavier way.
âEdmund?â You gently shake his shoulder before stepping back.
The Just King startles awake, his book slipping out of his lap. His eyes are wide and wild as they flick across the room, struggling to make sense of his surroundings. Finally, they land on you and soften. â(Y/N)?â
âGood morning, sleepy head,â you reply, trying to keep your tone light, casual. âIf you say that your neck doesn't hurt after sleeping like that, then youâre a liar.â
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â The painful popping noises that echo from his spine say otherwise, but you let it go. Slowly, he rises, stretches, and then takes a step closer to you and plants a kiss on your forehead. He sighs through his nose. âToday is the day.â
You slip your hand into his, intwine your fingers. âHow are you feeling?â
Edmund shrugs. His relationship with his siblings has improved leaps and bounds in all the years that theyâve spent in Narnia, but sometimes he still hesitates to show certain emotions around them, to express himself the way he should. Sometimes itâs easier when itâs just the two of you in a space like this where heâs comfortable.
âIâll manage.â
âIf youâre not feeling up to it â â
He squeezes your hand. âIâll be fine. Itâs just a day that I have to get through.â
âSpring will come again,â you assure him, using the mantra that you often whispered to comfort him through last yearâs winter season.
âAnd we will greet it with open arms and grateful hearts,â he finishes. He attempts a smile, but it looks more strained than usual. âDonât worry, darling. Everything will be fine.â
. . .
It is almost immediately not fine.
The ambassadors arrive in all their splendor. Fine fabrics and shimmering jewels assure that no one can take their eyes off them as they enter the hall and approach the five thrones. They bow to Peter in the center, to Susan and Lucy on his left, then to you and Edmund on his right. Servants carry golden trunks behind them. They have come to these diplomatic negotiations bearing gifts in the most literal sense.
Though you will all retire to a separate chamber for the actual negotiations, the gift giving is a public affair for the whole court to witness. And because itâs so formal, itâs rather slow.
Strong weapons forged of foreign metals are gifted, followed by clothes of their countryâs latest fashions, and small samplings of food for each of you, a different dish for you each to try based on what the ambassadors have heard about you.
Thank goodness youâre a good actress, because the ambassadors seem to think that you really do seem excited to try the food in the bejeweled silver container that they gift to you. In reality, youâre trying your hardest not to grimace at the unfamiliar looking treats inside of it, and trying hard not to become preoccupied wondering if the taste will be as . . . unique as the smell that emits from them.
âAnd finally, for King Edmund,â one of the ambassadors says with a bow before presenting a silver container to Edmund with a flourish. âI have heard a rumor that you are quite fond of these.â
Thankful for a distraction from the gift in your own hands, you turn your attention to Edmund. Sitting beside him, you are in full view of the show that his siblings are not. You can see the rosy color, the powdered sugar. The Just Kingâs smile immediately falters. Strong hands clamp the container shut before anyone else has the chance to see whatâs inside â Turkish Delight.
For a moment there is nothing but silence, the labored sound of Edmund drawing a breath. It goes on just long enough that his siblings glance at him. Only then does Edmund seem capable of forcing himself to smile, to nod, to thank the ambassador for such a thoughtful gift. If his siblings sense that something might be wrong, they donât even know the half of it.
Because what has just happened, really? Is this a slight on behalf of the other countryâs rulers? Or do they genuinely have no clue the implications of their actions?
As the exchanging of the gifts comes to a close, Edmund coughs into his fist, clears his throat. Does it again. He thumps the flat of his palm against his chest.
Peter turns to him. âAre you alright?â
âI think I just require a bit of fresh air, if youâll excuse me for a moment,â Edmund replies. He says it far too quickly, and he uses the excuse to dismiss himself from the hall. The silver container that holds the Turkish Delight has been abandoned, left behind on his throne.
It takes everything in you not to race after him, to follow him, to make sure that heâs okay. Instead, youâre stuck helplessly glancing between the doorway that heâs disappeared through and the ambassadors who wonât seem to shut up.
Finally, the niceties end. The other king and queens of Narnia begin to migrate into a separate chamber with the ambassadors to begin the negotiations.
Quickly, quietly, you catch Lucy by the sleeve of her dress and lean in close to her ear. âIâve got to go find Edmund,â you whisper. âIâm worried about him.â
Lucyâs eyes go wide, but she holds her composure under the watchful eyes of the court and the visiting representatives. âIâll cover for you,â she whispers back.
As one of the five Narnian monarchs, you donât technically need anyoneâs permission to leave â except maybe Peterâs, since heâs the High King. Still, youâre the only one whoâs not a Pevensie sibling, which can sometimes be a little isolating. Knowing that Lucy has your back boosts your confidence as you slip away, heading for the nearest place that you think Edmund might have disappeared to.
A quick search reveals that heâs not in the library. Or the armory, or any of his usual haunts. As a last resort, you duck into his bedroom, and itâs there that you find him, standing before the hearth, staring into the flames. His hand holds the place on his side where the White Witch stabbed him on the battlefield, though the gesture seems absentminded.
âEd?â You make your voice soft so as not to startle him.
He looks up, eyes wide, surprised anyway â and hurt.
You donât waste time asking if heâs okay. Instead, you cross the room to meet him in front of the fire. âOh, Edmund.â
He doesnât bother lying and saying that heâs fine. Thatâs how you know itâs bad. When Edmund Pevensie goes quiet, retreats within himself, it means that heâs truly wounded. This is something deep inside of him that aches, that rots.
Not knowing what to do, you take a seat on the rug in front of the hearth. Youâre careful not to touch him, trying to offer him the space if he needs it. But he follows your lead and takes a seat, too, which seems like a good sign.
For a while, neither of you speaks. You just sit near each other, staring into the fire. Edmund looks very numb when he finally says, âI didnât mean to leave like that. I just . . . panicked.â
âNo one blames you.â
âSeeing that stupid Turkish Delight â â He shudders. âI canât figure out if it was a poor choice given with good intentions, or if it was a slight on my honor, a reminder of what I did.â He frowns. âI suppose to some people Iâll never be Edmund the Just â Iâll only ever be just Edmund, The Traitor.â
âNo,â you protest. Space be damned; you grab his hand in yours and squeeze it, like that gesture can also grab his attention, infuse the meaning of what youâre about to say to him so that he cannot ignore it. âEdmund, youâve changed. Youâre not a traitor.â
âAnymore.â
âPeople forget that I was there, too,â you remind him. âI tried to follow you to Jadisâ castle.â
âThat was different. You were trying to stop me from betraying my family.â His brow furrows at the memory. âSo I shoved you into a snowbank and ran off without you. And then you went back to Beaverâs the help the others. (Y/N) the Loyal,â he employs the epithet that Aslan gave you, but you canât be sure why. Because of what you did then? Because youâre here with him now?
âPeople can be different. They can change. Youâve changed.â Gently, you use your pointer finger to hook his chin and turn his face towards you, making him look you in the eye. âYouâre a good king, Edmund, and an even better man. A good brother. A good boyfriend. Everyone has forgiven you for what you did as a child.â
Edmund shakes his head. âBut they havenât forgotten. And I canât, either, if Iâm being honest.â He doesnât meet your eye when he confesses, âIt haunts me, the memories. Every winter.â
âNo. But you can do something else.â You pause to make sure that you have his full attention when you make your suggestion. âYou can forgive yourself.â
Edmund blinks. As smart as he is, it seems like the thought has never occurred to him before now.
âIt doesnât have to be now,â you assure him. âItâs not an instantaneous thing. Just . . . something to work on. A project. An ongoing one.â
Silence falls between you again as he turns back to the fire. It takes a few moments before he nods, the light shining off his dark hair and his crown.
âIâll work on it,â he says, resolved. He turns back to you, and when he speaks again, his voice is so unsure, so timid, that you have the sudden urge to hold onto him with one arm and use your other to draw your sword and fend off anything or anyone in the world who might come near and cause him harm. âCan you help me do it?â
You nod. âOf course.â
âThank you,â he clears his throat, shakes his head. âIâm going to need more than my own forgiveness for being late to these negotiations.â He makes no move to get up. His gaze wanders across the room, as if seeing it for the first time, before landing on the window and studying the portal to the frozen, white world beyond it.
âYou donât have to go if you donât feel up to it.â Then, trying to lighten the mood, you bump your shoulder against his. âIâm sure Susan and Lucy ganging up on the ambassadors will give them a run for their money.â
Edmund chuckles, settles back on the rug. âGood, because I honestly donât think I can look into the eye of a person who tried to give me Turkish Delight without hitting him over the head with my sword.â
Even though youâre in a relationship, itâs maybe the most vulnerable that Edmund has ever been with you. He places his head in your lap and stares into the hearth as you card your hands through his dark locks.
âSpring is coming soon,â he mutters, his voice heavy with the sleep thatâs trying to catch up with him. âMaybe then I can start over . . . Would be nice to not have to worry about freaking out over a bad gift and embarrassing myself in front of the whole court.â
âSpring will come again,â you remind him, voice soft in case heâs already dropped off to sleep. âAnd we will greet it with open arms and grateful hearts.â Then, for good measure, you add a new line to aid you through your latest challenge. âAnd it will allow us to start over.â

â WHEN FALLING FOR YOU ⨠HEADCANONS
peter pevensie x gn!reader â aslan help him. ⏠fluff!
⢠ha whipped
⢠boy oh boy who would have thought that rallying armies and talking to someone you fancy would be two entirely different battles.
⢠heâs painfully aware of how his High Kingâ˘ď¸ persona falters around you.
⢠he wants so badly to exude that regal composure and charm, but instead he's clearing his throat to stall for time to articulate properly after you hold his gaze for too long.
⢠heâs mortified and more than a little vexed. you think itâs endearing.
⢠truth is, between stumbling through wars and acting as the head of narnian nobility he hasnât had the chance to really court someone.
⢠lucy brings up the topic most often and he humors her by rolling his eyes and saying heâll cross that bridge when he gets there.
⢠(except he is now falling off that bridge.)
⢠he always held you in high regard and in the back of his mind he dreaded the inevitable moment those feelings softed into romantic attraction.
⢠now they have and it sucks. heâs conflicted and may avoid you for a bit because he's very aware of the implications of courting a king. the high king. of narnia.
⢠this kinda backfires on him though because the more he withdraws the more worried you get, and the more he can imagine you next to him in cair paravel.
⢠so finally â for once â he goes to susan.
⢠after hearing him out she tells him you might not even feel the same anyway dummy to stop being so serious about it. he may be high king but that doesnât mean he has to pressure himself into finding narniaâs next addition to the throne room. he has to decide if heâs even happy with the person first. (and to put a little more faith in you too. if thereâs anyone who would be understanding about the situation it would be you.)
⢠sheâs right so with that in mind he lets himself stare at you from across the courtyard more often.
⢠his attention has wandered to you on more than one occasion during council gatherings and heâll blink when someone finally asks his opinion.
⢠âis . . . his highness feeling al-â âyes â do continue.â
⢠now susan probably off-handedly told lucy, and lucy immediately told edmund. (god no.)
⢠edmund finds the entire situation beyond amusing and will proceed to raise actual hell for his brother.
⢠peterâs blood pressure is that much higher because of this.
⢠edmund will ask you to help look for something in a room he knows peter just entered.
⢠or one time in the middle of a social event after lucy complimented your newly sewn clothes, âi agree, the color is quite befitting. what do you think, peter? do you think the color is quite befitting?â
⢠peterâs glare would have been sharper if he wasnât coughing into his drink.
⢠gremlin behavior.
⢠if youâre on the quieter side he always gets the room to shut up settle down so you can share your thoughts;
⢠which doesnât take much because most of the courtesans consider you his betrothed anyway jfjdjd
⢠âyour grace was most eloquent during the meeting this morning.â âoh, thank you . . . but iâm not-â âroyalty? i beg your pardon; i merely presumed!â which leaves you oddly flattered and very confused.
⢠if you adjust the tunic of his armor, tap his visor, and wish him luck for a tournament heâll give you a tight-lipped smile before tugging it down and striding away to hide his warm cheeks.
⢠god help whoever has the audacity to smartmouth you around him. though not that anyone would, considering both your reputations among the narnians but also because if anyone did theyâd be in for a cold shot of english sarcasm.
⢠lucy thinks you guys are the cutest and heâs much more accepting of her comments compared to edâs teasing.
⢠but joke's on you because if edmund is in charge of teasing peter, lucy is the one poking you.
⢠âso what do you think of peter?â âwell, heâs brave, decisive, and-â âyes, yes, of course, but what do you really think of him?â
⢠sheâs all smiley when you avert your eyes and say you guess youâre fond of him.
⢠susan is just happy to have another level head around and thinks youâre good for her brother plus you donât put up with his shit
⢠youâre the only one he listens to.
⢠when he inevitably loses his patience with someone one disappointed look from you has him begrudgingly apologizing, and the siblings arenât sure whether to be jealous or impressed.
⢠cue them occasionally taking advantage of this because when else are they gonna get this opportunity?
⢠âpeter said i shouldnât ride side saddle!â âwhat? peter, why?â âbecause sheâs more likely to fall off that way.â âyour sister has endured a lot worse than falling off a horse, pete.â âsee?â âoh, alright.â
⢠even susan, âi think we should make camp by the stream.â âyes, but the trees provide more shelter from the wind.â âflowers grow close to the stream.â she says it like it's obvious. his finger taps his sheath. heâs looking at the water. âyou could give a flower to-â âfine.â
⢠he did give you that flower. it was purple and you liked it a lot. what you didnât notice was lucy giving him an enthusiastic thumbs up from behind a bush and susan elbowing ed for rolling his eyes.
â con amor; drink your water or iâll find you <3

â§âË⧠â[ one loss after another ]â
ft. peter pevensie x gn! reader â prince caspian, the chronicles of narnia
â°â⧠peter realizing that his lover didnât get past the gatesâ1.1k words (prt two)
setting: the telmarine age (prince caspian) contains: angst!! prince caspian spoilers, guilt, descriptions of battles, mentions of death & murder, open ending, maybe ooc/lore inaccurate
⤠author's note: mmmm, narnia brainrotâŚ
all around him was the state of his troops being massacred, the same troops who swore to follow him to the very end and were now paying the price of his foolishness with their lives. they were heavily outnumbered and deep in enemy territory while more and more telmarines joined the battle from seemingly nowhere. the call to retreat has been made several times, but some narnians were dealing with as many as three soldiers at once and the wave of archers from above raining arrows on them all certainly wasnât helping. they were being held back, and as much as peter wanted to stay and help as many escape as possible, there were too many and the brave minotaur giving his life to hold the gate open wasnât going to be standing forever.
he could feel his heart beating up to his ears and the wind rushing past him as he rode his horse past the archway with several others, but it wasnât loud enough for him to ignore the battle cries and the howls of pain of those who didnât make it behind him slowly becoming distant. as soon as he managed to flee, the minotaur collapsed on the spot and the heavy iron gate crashed atop his body. there were so many who were still trapped, trying to climb the metal bars in a futile attempt while getting stabbed in the back while some others decided to kill as many of the enemy forces as possible until their dying breath. whatever they were doing, they were all yelling at their noble king to turn back around and get away before miraz could chase after him.
it was difficult to listen to them and tear his eyes away from the entrance of the castle, but it was even more difficult to resist the urge to cry as he got to a safer distance. he failed them, he failed them all. he didnât dare to look at the survivors, keeping his head down in shame and disbelief. he was supposed to be a king, the fabled magnificent high king of old who once saved the land from the white witch, but it was time for him to look the truth in the face and admit that he was still the troublesome schoolboy from finchley who wasnât fit to rule anymore, much less mythical beings who were threatened to being driven to extinction.
when he finally lifted his head to address the remaining few, he felt his heart now drop. âw-where isâŚ?!â panic was setting in as his world started spinning. lucy was back at base, susan was right in front of him, edmund just flew in with the help of a griffin, but you werenât anywhere to be found. he thought he was going to be sick, tightening his hands on the reins and ready to go speeding back, âthey must still be in thereâŚ! i-i need to go back!â
âyou canât!â susan exclaimed, the centaur whose back she hopped earlier on was now blocking his way.
âi have to! theyâll die in there!â despite being one of the most proficient with swords (even more so than him) and one of the best fighters at his disposal, he never wanted you to endanger yourself in battle and now regrets not trying harder to convince you not to join them.
âpeter, you need to stop and think! you donât have any way to get back in thereâ even sneaking in wouldnât work now that they are high-alert! youâll just get yourself killed while we need you to lead us. besides, you know that if anyone can make it out alive, itâs them, and if they canât, then you need to stay alive to avenge them!â
she was right, and he knew that he should be listening to her since he still has the narnians and his younger siblings to protect, but his mind was racing even faster than his heart was earlier. he doesnât know how heâll handle the grief if you donât make it, not after the massive scare of assuming you were already gone while he was away from narnia just to find you frozen in time thanks to aslanâs magic. ever since then, heâs kept you as close to him as he could, but now heâs afraid that fate is continuously trying to rip you away from him.
he took a deep breath, trying to collect his thoughts and swallowing his fear to put on a brave facade in an effort to lift the spirits of his troops, telling everyone to head back to aslanâs how before they will figure out how to recover and their next plan of action. he didnât follow them immediately, not wanting to see the likely spiteful look in their eyes and hear the possible gossip about how incompetent he is, and instead looked back at the telmarine castle. it was much quieter now and darker with the looming knowledge of death indirectly by his hand, but the faint sound of metal clashing against metal was enough to give him a glimmer of hope you were still alive.
and alive you were, swinging your sword like the battle just started! they just couldnât seem to pin you down, tripping over each other as they tried to swarm you and arrows hitting their own men instead of you. there might have been even more deaths by friendly fire than there was from you, but you were only here to raise hell for them to avenge your fallen friends. if you were going to die behind these walls, then you were going to take down as many of them as possible with you! you didnât really know if there were other narnians still alive or if it was only you, but it didnât matter right now when you were putting all of your strength to defending yourself.
the general leaned over to catch the attention of his king who was focused on you, âthat one might single-handedly wipe out everyone in the palace if we donât intervene right nowâŚâ
miraz couldnât help but smirk, what was a warrior like you doing serving the boy king of a lost cause? you would be much better suited in his own army, maybe as a captain or as a lieutenant. âindeed⌠capture them and bring them to me after a night in the dungeon, perhaps they would make a good ally with a bit of convincingâŚâ too bad for him, your loyalties are to the high king peter pevensie the magnificent and none other. that single night that he foolishly allows you to spend in his prison will be more than enough time to break out and make your way back to camp.

Characters: Edmund Pevensie
Pairing: Edmund x GN!Reader
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1178
The battlefield stretched out before you like an endless ocean of chaos. Warriors clashed with brutal force, their weapons ringing in the air, the ground beneath them soaked in the blood of the fallen. The cries of the wounded mingled with the roar of battle, and somewhere in the distance, you could hear the chilling shriek of a centaur as it fell to a barrage of arrows.
You stood on the edge of the fray, your chest heaving, sword in hand, watching as the skirmish raged on. In the midst of the melee, a single figure caught your eye. He moved like the windâswift, agile, and utterly determined.
Edmund Pevensie.
The Just King of Narnia. And your enemy.
To you, he represented everything youâd fought against for years. Narniaâs expansion had forced your people into a corner, and you had sworn to resist. To fight until there was nothing left. But as you watched him now, cutting through your soldiers with practiced precision, doubt flickered in the depths of your mind.
You hated himâor so you told yourself. Yet, every time you crossed paths with Edmund, it felt as though there was something more beneath the surface. Something that made your heart pound in ways you couldnât explain.
You gripped your sword tightly, the leather of the hilt biting into your palm as you steeled yourself. Today, you would confront him. Today, you would end this, one way or another.
With a deep breath, you charged toward him, weaving through the chaos, your eyes fixed on his form. Your footsteps were light but swift, your sword slicing through any obstacle in your path. The moment you reached him, you swung your blade, aiming for his unguarded back.
But Edmund moved faster than you anticipated. As if sensing your presence, he spun around, his sword meeting yours with a resounding clang. Your eyes locked, and for a moment, time seemed to stop.
âYou again,â he muttered, his voice strained with exertion, but not without a hint of recognition.
âDonât act so surprised,â you shot back, pushing against his blade with all your strength.
He smirked, his eyes gleaming with something that was neither fear nor anger, but something you couldnât quite place. âIâm not. I just didnât expect it to be this soon.â
You narrowed your eyes. âThen you shouldâve been ready for me.â
The two of you danced across the battlefield, swords clashing with each strike, the sound echoing in the din of war. He was a skilled fighter, and you found yourself struggling to keep up with his speed. But you refused to back down. You had trained for this momentâprepared yourself for the inevitable confrontation.
Yet, as you fought, there was something different about this battle. Each time your swords connected, there was a spark in the airâan electricity you couldnât ignore. Every time you stepped closer to him, it felt like the world was closing in, leaving only the two of you in its wake.
âYou donât have to do this,â Edmund said suddenly, his voice low, as if he could speak to you alone amidst the chaos.
You growled, frustration building in your chest. âAnd you donât have to keep pretending you care!â
He blocked your next strike with ease, his eyes flickering with something unreadable. âWhat makes you think Iâm pretending?â
That stopped you for a moment. Your sword hovered in the air as you stared at him, the words catching you off guard. His expression softened slightly, and you noticed that he wasnât attacking as aggressively as he could have. In fact, it seemed as though he was holding back.
âYou donât know me,â you snapped, stepping back to regain your composure.
He sheathed his sword, making you pause. âI know enough.â
Before you could retort, a nearby explosion rocked the ground, sending dust and debris into the air. The shockwave threw you both backward, and you hit the ground with a grunt. For a moment, your vision blurred, the chaos around you fading to a dull roar.
When the dust settled, you found yourself staring up at the sky, dazed. But then, a shadow fell over you, and you blinked up to see Edmund standing above you, his hand outstretched.
âLet me help you,â he said, his voice steady despite the battle still raging around you.
You glared at him, but the strength in your arms had fled. Reluctantly, you took his hand, allowing him to pull you to your feet. His grip was firm, and for a moment, neither of you moved, your hands lingering together a little too long.
âWhy are you doing this?â you asked, breathless. Your heart pounded, but it wasnât just from the exertion of battle.
Edmundâs expression softened. âBecause I donât want to see you hurt.â
The words hit you harder than any sword could. You stared at him, confused and conflicted. âWeâre enemies,â you whispered. âYouâre supposed to want to see me fall.â
His hand remained on yours, warm and steady, grounding you in a way you hadnât expected. âMaybe we donât have to be enemies anymore,â he said softly. âWeâve fought for so long, but what if thereâs another way?â
You wanted to argue, to push him away, but his wordsâhis gazeâcut through your defenses. There was a sincerity in his eyes, a raw honesty that you hadnât been prepared for. Your breath caught in your throat, and for a moment, you let yourself wonder if he was right.
Edmund stepped closer, his voice barely a whisper now. âYou donât have to fight this war alone. You donât have to carry this burden anymore.â
You swallowed hard, your pulse quickening as he inched nearer. The battlefield, the chaos around youâall of it seemed to fade away. There was only him. And for the first time, you realized how much you had been fighting against yourself, not just him.
âWhy do you care?â you asked, your voice trembling.
He hesitated for a moment, his hand brushing against your cheek. The touch sent a shiver down your spine. âBecause⌠I think Iâve been fighting against myself too,â he admitted. âIâve hated this war as much as you do.â
You stared at him, searching his face for any sign of deceit, but there was none. Just vulnerability. A rawness you hadnât expected to see in him.
Before you could stop yourself, you leaned in, your breath mingling with his. His eyes flickered down to your lips, and for a heartbeat, the world stood still. Then, slowly, cautiously, he closed the distance between you.
His lips met yours in a tentative kiss, soft and warm, like a promise. Your heart raced, and for a moment, you forgot everythingâthe war, the pain, the years of hatred. All that mattered was this. Him.
When you finally pulled back, your breath was shallow, and his eyes were filled with a mix of relief and something deeper. âWe donât have to keep fighting,â he whispered, his forehead resting against yours.
For the first time in years, you let yourself believe him.

All That I've Done
Edmund Pevensie x GN!reader
L I S T E N T O: River - Ochman
Warnings: crying, very short, implied relationship, probably like really bad but we're getting there.
Genre: reverse comfort, fluff, angs-ish
Synopsis: Here.
A/N: When I tell you I actually screamed in joy when I saw this request I'm not even exaggerating. Tysm anon for this, hope you enjoy!
Word count: 1,022
Your surroundings were way to quiet for your liking, the atmosphere way to solemn and even breathing felt hard. You stood a few meters away from the pevensie siblings surrounded by the remains of what used to be your home.
Exactly how long had it been? You knew time went by faster in Narnia than back home but you didn't expect it to have been so long, however long it's been.
You snapped out of your thoughts by Edmund's voice calling your name, you turned your head to see him standing right in front of you. "Here, I believe these are yours" he said handing you your old weapons and clothing. You took the daggers and fabric ,that looked untouched by time, no different from when you last saw them a year ago, from him gratefully and nodded in appreciation.
You'd been walking for some time, everything seemed so different, so quiet, the once lively kingdom now only a fraction of what it used to be.
The five of you came to a halt, taken aback by the scene unfolding Infront of you, two men in foreign armour atop a small boat in the river not too far away carrying a dwarf, gagged and tied.
Susan was quick to act, aiming at them with her bow "Drop him!" She commanded and ironically enough that's exactly what they did, dropped him in the river.
One of the men readied his crossbow yet before he could even aim he was pierced by Susan's arrow while the other cowardly fled. Peter quickly jumped in the river, saving the dwarf while you helped Edmund get the boat to shore.
Lucy used her dagger to cut the dwarf's restraints. "Drop him?!" Was the first thing he said directed to Susan "is that the best you can come up with?!"
"A 'thank you' would've been appreciated" you defended hearing Edmund snort beside you.
You laughed at the dwarf's expression when he put the pieces together "You're it?! You're the kings and queens of old?!".
It took some time to get him to trust you but it worked out after a short duel against Edmund. You learned that his name was Trumpkin and that it's been over a thousand years since you disappeared.
Trumpkin told you about prince Caspian and how he was trying to help the Narnians, how he was the one that had called for you using Susan's horn.
You spent most of the time of your journey walking by Edmund, you tried starting a conversation multiple times but he looked uninterested, trapped in his own thoughts, giving you short answers and not bothering to continue after that so you simply gave up and stuck to quietly walking by his side.
It was starting to get dark, the sky turning a beautiful indigo colour, full of bright starts, the starts you would admire at every night for 15 years. You decided to set up camp in a small clearing, you'd continue your journey early at dawn.
As you sat with Lucy and Susan quietly, you noticed Edmund out of the corner of your eye, a bit further than the rest of you sitting alone on a boulder.
Using your hands to assist yourself, you stood up, slowly walking towards him. He looked sad still like he's been for the whole time you've been back. The sound of your daggers clanging together as you walked made him turn back in alarm, visibly relaxing once he saw who it was.
Not speaking a word you sat by him for a minute or two before finally turning to look at him. "What's up with you?" You asked making him turn to you with a confused expression.
"Whatever do you mean?" You rolled your eyes, knowing very well he knew what you were referring to. "You've been looking all solemn since we got here. Are you not happy to be back? What's the matter?" He shook his head and faced Infront of him "of course I'm happy to be back it's just." He paused for a moment "it's so different, too quiet, too eerie" he explained, his gaze directed to you once more.
You nodded and moved slightly closer, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder "I understand, and I completely agree with you, but we have to keep our heads up. We need to be strong for our home, I'm sure we'll fix this." You reassured him, or tried your best to.
Your expression turned from that of compassion to one of panic as you noticed the tears making their way to his eyes. "I just can't stand to see Narnia this way, after all that I've done, all that we've done. Why did we have to leave? Why didn't we stay?" He cried with a shaky voice.
You opened your arms for him and he gladly accepted the affection, wasting no time to move into your embrace and cling to you, his handa gripping the back of your shirt as he hid his face in between your neck and shoulder.
You ran a hand through his hair, the other rubbing comforting circles on his back "it's okay. Let it out" you spoke softly to the sobbing boy in your arms.
He sobbed for a good 10 minutes before letting go of you and wiping his eyes "I'm sorry." You shook your head, your hand remaining in it's position on his back. "It's okay to cry, even as a king. You have nothing to apologise for"
He smiled slightly at your words, placing his hand atop your own which had moved from his back to his shoulder as you spoke.
"Thank you. For always being there for me." You smiled and placed a quick yet soft kiss to his forehead "you can always count on me to be there whenever you need me to, I promise" without further words he returned to your embrace a content sigh leaving his lips.
Knowing his has you by his side, always there, makes him feel invincible, like nothing could ever harm him. You can and will save Narnia like you did once, together.

A late night project
Peter Pevensie x gn!reader
words: 976
Warnings: none :)
Authorâs note: Iâm in my Peter Pevensie era.
Since the end of the great sorrow, you have been working from the palace. You have completed all the routes, plans and maps of Narnia, so you now have your own space in the room to do the things you want to do. It was 12 o'clock at night and you were still sitting at your desk in the middle of your project. You were supposed to take it to Aslan next week, but you were the kind of person who wanted things done quickly so you could rest. Peter had come home from training with Edmund and showered to wash off the sweat.
Your desk was covered in dirt, papers, books, inkwells and broken pencils scattered all over the room, a long sigh escaped your lips. You werenât motivated and your hands were not just following the instructions in your head. You had a good idea of what you wanted to do, but nothing came out the way you wanted it to. Just then the eldest Pevensie walked in. "Hi honey, what are you doing so late?" he said sitting down next to you. "I have to make this map with the new trade routes, but my head is not working at the moment," you say as you put your hands on your head. Peter stroked your head and said "I know if I tell you to go to sleep you won't listen to me so how about a cup of hot chocolate?" he asked and you nodded and smiled. Even though he was tired he still wanted to take care of you.
As Peter went to get the chocolate you focused on listening to the sounds of nature and the trees to calm your mind and release stress. You closed your eyes and enjoyed the soft rhythm of the tree branches.
Peter brought you a cup of hot chocolate and his tea as chocolate was his biggest enemy at night. "Pete, you can sleep if you want to, you don't have to wait for me," you said, feeling guilty that he wouldn't be able to get a good night's rest. "You know I can't sleep without you by my side," he replied and smiled at you and sat down on the couch next to you. He was reading a book about ancient Narnia when he began to hum. When you heard his voice, you felt serene. Your head had a new idea, better than you thought. Your hands began to move on their own; an hour had passed and now Peter was lying on your lap. He looked at you and seemed happy even though he was so tired and just wanted to sleep with you in his arms. "Hmm, my love, do you know when you are going to finish?" asked the great king of Narnia softly, when you stopped to look at him. "I don't know, Pete, but I think I'll be done soon," you told him and stroked his cheek. You played with his hair, kissed his forehead and went back to work.
After another two hours, that's it, you'd finally finished the stupid map. You rubbed your hands together with satisfaction. You were met with silence as you looked down at your lap.
Peter slept with his hands clasped around your waist, his cheeks red, making him look even more attractive than he was. You felt bad that he had to sleep in an uncomfortable position because of you, and you stroked his right cheek, pouring all your feelings into this pure and simple gesture.
You caressed his cheek again and whispered softly "Honey, get up and let's go to sleep". Peter rubbed his eyes to see clearly and looked at you with his sleepy eyes. "Are you done yet?" he asked like a little boy who needs attention. "Yeah, how about we go to bed huh?" you said and helped him up. He took your hand and hugged you so he wouldn't lose the warmth and threw himself on the bed with you in his arms.
You both fell asleep quickly as you were both so tired, you laid your head on Peter's chest and let the melody of his heartbeat take you to the arms of morpheus.
The next day came and you woke up as the sun was trying to enter the room from behind the curtains. You opened your eyes and saw Peter, his blond hair covered his forehead, his pink lips were slightly parted, the sun was streaming down his face leaving a pinkish hue decorating his cheeks. You gave him a light peck on the cheek and he smiled in his sleep making your heart melt. You quietly got out of bed and went down to the palace kitchen to ask a small favour of the Narnians working there. You asked them to prepare a small breakfast with fruit and sweets and when it was ready you took it up to your bedroom.
You stroked Peter's cheek again, causing him to wake up little by little, his blue eyes were half open from the brightness of the sun,"Good morning my king" you said kissing his lips with a smile and his cheeks reddened instantly. "Good morning my love, Uhm what's all this?" he said pointing to the tray with food on it.
"Well this is my apology for not letting you sleep last night, is it accepted?" You replied and looked at him in the eyes. "Much more than expected, only if-" he said pausing. "Only if what? you're scaring me" you said and fiddled with your fingers. "Only if this afternoon you are mine, no plans or maps for Aslan, you and me in the river gardens with a picnic," you chuckled. You kissed him affectionately "that sounds so lovely, how could I refuse such an offer".

warm ii | e. p.
nav. | m.list
requested by @aphroditelxver : hey!! i just saw your edmund one shot "warm" and fell in love with the way you write!!<3 so may i request one were edmund is jealous of reader talking to some prince from other country and he confess his love for her? it could also be a part two from "warm"!
wc: 1.6k
pairings: edmund pevensie x gn!feminine!reader
warnings: unedited work, idk if i swear but i probably did, badly written writing as usual, alcohol
a/n: i am so sorry. it was only after i had finished writing this that i realised i was supposed to keep the reader gender neutral. i did give them a dress, so i'm genuinely sorry about that, but i've tried to avoid using pronouns/anything else that indicates gender. and now that it's written like this, i can't think of any other way for it to go. this story can be read as a part 2 to warm or a standalone.
read part 1 here
Edmund Pevensie was an idiot.
Anyone who glanced at the Just King was immediately taken aback by the vicious glare cemented across his face. It was starkly out of place, for Edmund was surrounded by the finest refinery and culture that Narniaâs neighbouring kingdoms had to offer. Trades and alliances had already been forged with an impressive total of three nations, and the ball wasnât even in full swing yet. Not to mention, this gala had all been Edmundâs idea. And everything had been going exactly according to his plan.
Except for the part where you twirled around the dance floor, beaming at a tall blonde prince whose hand was placed dangerously low on your back.
Edmund really couldnât blame him, he supposed. You were easily the most beautiful person in the hall. Your dress was well-fitting, the skirts various shades of blue that shimmered when you moved, akin to a sparkling waterfall. All words that he could ever have spoken wilted and died on his tongue the second he laid eyes on you, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth when he spotted the royal accompanying you.Â
He decided he couldnât watch any more when your dance partner twirled you away and quickly into his arms again, earning a delighted shriek from you. Turning around and walking away abruptly, Edmund headed towards his new best friend, the bartender.Â
Not long after he had drained two glasses of glittery red wine, he felt a rough swat on his head.
âOuch,â he said dryly, not deigning to acknowledge his little sister with a proper greeting.
âWhatâs wrong with you?â Lucy asked, scowling at him fiercely, âYouâre scaring away every chance we have of forming a treaty with the Archenlanders. Can you stop glaring at their prince?â
âWhoâs their prince?â Edmund said, his hand reaching to grab his third glass of wine, but Lucy swatted at it in a rather unqueenly manner until he pulled it back again.
âPrince Anthony, remember? The one Y/Nâs entertaining.â
âAh,â Edmund said, diving forward for the glass again at the reminder, too quick for Lucy to stop him, âThe prick.âÂ
Lucy frowned disapprovingly at his words, âMaybe donât call him that. A treaty with Archenland is invaluable, so keep your jealousy hidden, alright? And not,â she added, signalling to the bartender that she was cutting Edmund off, âIn wine.â
Edmund didnât bother denying what Lucy said. Being the Just King meant he had to be fair, even when confronting his own emotions, even when heâd rather stick forks in his eyes. Heaving a sigh, he stood up from the barstool he had previously sat on, his expression carefully neutralised as he walked up to Peter, joining him in offering greetings to new monarchs who had just arrived.Â
You stumbled out behind the billowing curtains into the balcony, heaving a large sigh. It was exhausting having to accompany Prince Anthony around, considering that the man would not stop talking about himself. You really didnât need to know all of his sword-fighting feats, and privately, you thought that a certain dark-haired individual could trump him in a matter of seconds. And although he kept commenting about how your blue dress matched the hue of his eyes, you couldnât help but think that youâd compliment a brown-eyed King better. Having disguised your departure from Anthonyâs side as a visit to the lavatory, you gripped the balcony railings and took a deep breath of fresh air, grateful for the break from the stuffiness.
âWow. Is the ball Iâm throwing that bad?â
You startled, head whipping around quick, only for your shoulders to slump in relief once you recognised Edmund.Â
âIt is,â you said, walking closer to the man, trying to keep your eyes fixed on his face so he couldnât tell just how much you liked his suit, âThe company makes it a little more bearable, though.â
Edmund shucked a laugh at the implicit compliment, leaning against the railing as you came to stand next to him, his body tilted to face you, âIâm glad you think so highly of me.â
âWho said I was talking about you?â you asked teasingly, your mouth quirking up to the side. Rather than responding to the playful banter, though, Edmundâs smile dropped, eyes leaving yours to stare out at the gates surrounding the castle instead. You frowned at the lack of reception your comment got, lapsing into the tense silence Pevensie was already partaking in.Â
âHowâs it going with Anthony?â Edmund eventually asked, breaching the stillness.
You groaned at the name, earning a half-hearted chuckle from Edmund as you tried to explain your exasperation, âItâs going well enough. Heâs so airheaded, as long as I keep the flattery coming, Iâm sure heâd sign anything I ask him to. Even the deed to his kingdom, if I wished so.â
âThatâs no surprise,â Edmund said, âIâm sure Iâd sign anything if someone like you asked me to.â
You stilled, unsure if he was flirting with you when he added, âThat is, if it was possible for anyone to be as bossy as you.â
You punched his shoulder lightly as he grinned at you, his hand coming up to clasp your wrist. The sound of violins fluttered through the flowing curtains, and Edmund looked down at you, raising his eyebrow in a silent question. When you tipped your chin in a silent answer, his hand found your waist as your free hand lifted to rest on his shoulder.Â
The two of you danced around the balcony floor, Edmund swaying you this way and that, knowing just when to pull his foot away from yours, out of danger in the nick of time. You sent him an apologetic smile each time, knowing the clumsy dancer you were. The only reason you hadnât tripped over your own feet yet were the dance lessons Edmund had insisted on giving you earlier on, and, more honestly, the solid warmth of his arm, looped around your back, keeping you upright. It felt natural to you, unlike the way your body stiffened when it had been Prince Anthony in front of you, subliminally fighting alongside your instincts.
âYou know,â Edmund said as he spun you around easily, âYou were supposed to be my date to this dance.â
âWas I?â you asked, scrunching up your nose as you tried to remember.
âYes,â Edmund assured you, âYou promised me, in the library last winter.â
âI was half asleep, Ed,â you chuckled, âI didnât even respond, forget promise. Besides, you didnât actually ask me, you know. You assumed.â
âWas I wrong to?â Edmund demanded, âWas it so much of a stretch, considering how much time we spend together, how much we care about each other? Or rather, how much I care about you?â
âWhat are you trying to say?â you asked, your feet slowing until they eventually reached a stop.
Edmundâs arm pulled away from your waist to hold both of your hands in his, thumbs splaying across your palms.
âIâm saying I hated watching you dance with Anthony, the Prin- the Prick. And I think it should have been me with you instead.â
There. He had done it now. His confession was out in the open, a weight off his chest, and now the ball was in your park. Edmundâs eyes flew wildly over your face, scanning for your reaction, for any response, when your mouth broke into a beaming grin, dazzling with contagious happiness.
âWow,â you said, smiling so wide the corners of Edmundâs lips upturned, too, an unconscious reaction from looking at you. âWow,â you said again, hands abandoning Edmundâs to fist into his shirt, âItâs totally not like Iâve waited years to hear that.â
And before the flustered boy could even think about forming words to respond, you tugged him down, close, to meet your waiting lips.
âPay up,â was the first thing Lucy said when you and Edmund announced your new relationship to his siblings.
You and Edmund exchanged wide-eyed looks as Peter and Susan grumbled, their hands fumbling for their wallets.
âWait, you guys bet on us?â Edmund asked, astounded.
âYes,â Susan said primly. Lucy explained it further, âThese two didnât have any faith in you. I was the only one who said youâd confess first.â
âWow,â Edmund said sarcastically as you laughed, âBetrayed by my own family.â
âSorry, Ed, but with all the blushing and stuttering, I thought itâd be a miracle if youâd even be able to get out a single word,â Peter explained, earning laughs from all the women in the room.
âOh!â Susan spoke up suddenly, cutting off her own chuckle, âWait! Who initiated the first kiss?â
âThat would be me,â you said, raising your hand, and winking at Edmund. Lucy and Peter groaned in unison, Peter throwing his entire wallet at Susan in exasperation while Lucy forked over half her treasure.Â
âYouâre joking,â Edmund said, watching the interaction. âWhat else have you bet on?â
âLots of things, little brother,â Peter said, leaning over to ruffle Edâs dark hair. Lowering his voice so he was only audible to Edmund, he continued, âYou better be the one to propose. Iâve got a lot of money riding on that one.â
âDonât worry,â Ed said back in a low voice, watching as you spoke to Lucy and Susan animatedly, mentally capturing the small smile on your face, âI have every intention to.â

â§âË⧠â[ silly block game ]â
ft. lucy pevensie, edmund pevensie, susan pevensie, peter pevensie (seperate) x gn! reader â the chronicles of narnia
â°â⧠playing minecraft with the pevensie siblingsâ1.5k words
setting: modern au, no mentions of narnia contains: fluff & crack, modern alternate universe, they are children in the image but ages are unspecified (so it could be romantic or platonic), mentions of in-game player & pet deaths,
⤠author's note: i had a dream that peter died in my arms while we were playing minecraft and decided to write cute headcanons when i woke up like a loser
âââ .°Ë⧠lucy pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - cherry grove, favorite mob - frogs, favorite flower - lily of the valley, favorite wood - birch, favorite block - moss
â°â⧠she takes her time when it comes to completing the game and may take forever to get to the end dimension, prefering to play on peaceful mode so that she can focus on exploring and creating with keep inventory on since she doesnât want to stress out about playing, enjoying everything it has to offer and will continuously pause on making progress to admire the scenery (but sometimes she turns it on easy mode to give her a little challenge when caving). oddly enough, even if the difficulty was on hard mode, she never seems to encounter any hostile mobs and they all decide to attack you instead while mining. itâs not an uncommon occurrence for her to tell you that she found her eighth patch of diamonds only for you to scream in response because you found a zombie spawner. sheâll manage to make it out of a pillager outpost without losing so much as half a heart while youâre looking like a pincushion, how does she do it?
â°â⧠more of a farmer player who is mesmerized by all the different types of flowers and will have a goal of harvesting all of them to make colorful fields that stretch on for longer than your render distance will allow you to see. sheâs most excited about updates that have new plants, wood types, and animals, keeping pets of all kinds even if they arenât meant to be domesticated! her base is practically a zoo and is always full of life just like she is, yet it still naturally blends in with the area so well that it seems naturally generated at first glance. on a creepier note, the more hidden areas might have a skull or two placed to fit an overgrown and abandoned aesthetic, but at least itâs pretty with all of the spore blossoms!
â°â⧠lucy hates villager trading farms with a passion, finding them too inhumane despite the fact that the villagers are npcs without sentience of any sort. it breaks her heart to see them in such cramped living conditions whose only purpose is for trade, so sheâll work on freeing them while youâre offline. sheâll spend hours upon hours gathering materials in secret to build a nicer village than the one they formally resided in before dismantling your system, with a good amount of iron golems to protect them from hostile mobs since she didnât want to restrict them by building a fence or walls. (donât worry, all of them are named and sheâs kept a book on all of their trades so that you can keep track! the hard part is only tracking them down, but the big village is a thousand times better than the ugly trading hall you had before).
âââ .°Ë⧠edmund pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - ice spikes, favorite mob - horses, favorite flower - torchflower, favorite wood - dark oak, favorite block - prismarine
â°â⧠he enjoys speedrunning, the only thing standing between him and being on the leaderboard is minor slip-ups that cost the entire game. he tends to get too cocky, especially once heâs gathered all he needed from the nether fortress and prematurely celebrates before a blaze knocks him off the edge, so you bet that youâre going to hear him come up with the most creative insults you would ever hear over the discord call (not including swears because he will be scolded for his language by someone in his house). his best record of beating the game is around forty minutes, nothing to gawk at, but something that heâs very proud of after all of his practice.
â°â⧠if itâs not a world dedicated to that, where he doesnât need to build a base, then heâll place down all of the essentials and call it a day without a roof over his head. itâs not like he can actually get wet from the rain or sunburn from the sun, so he doesnât bother and just lives like that until you persuade him to at least dig out a hole in a mountain to keep away from night-time mobs and expand whenever needed. his scattered chests are a mess, by the way, you canât find anything while he just spam clicks and glazes over the screen to find something in his strange little system. he insists that he knows where everything is and that organization isnât needed.
â°â⧠also a total prankster, but will never blow up builds or destroy anything of yours because he knows how much time you put into it for a minute of amusement. he likes watching where you log out and trapping you in that spot with obsidian, something that you can easily get out of with a pick but is still annoying enough for him to get a kick out of it. once he wasnât sure where the exact spot was, so he spent an entire real-life night meticulously encasing the area in glass and then flooding every block of air with water. he wondered multiple times if the effort was worth it in the process, but he cried tears of laughter when you couldnât get out at all since you drowned before you could break the glass and then swim out. it was an endless cycle of âdied by drowningâ until you offered him a chest of iron blocks for your freedom.
âââ .°Ë⧠susan pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - mountains, favorite mob - foxes, favorite flower - rose bushes, favorite wood - mangrove, favorite block - quartz
â°â⧠has mixed feelings on redstone, something that makes so much yet so little sense. itâs something that she likes to think that she mastered quickly, but you can always hear her muttering under her breath about how an entire contraption broke because of something dumb like the repeater being a tick off. she always covers up these machines with big, elaborate builds in a unique gothic style that youâve only seen from herâ although most of these builds are hollow since she doesnât know how to design the interior, leaving entire towns empty until she lets you fill them up with various shops and villagers to make it feel more lived-in.
â°â⧠refuses to throw anything away and maybe has a bit of a hoarding tendency, you cannot convince her to toss so much as a rotten potato into the lava because she âmight need it in the futureâ even though itâs the most worthless item in the game. her storage system is immense and conscientiously organized with item frames and color signs while practically overflowing, but she has copious amounts of everything and is very generous when it comes to sharing as long as you ask beforehand! (as a result, her least favorite mobs are creepers because she needs to sort out the damaged chests before everything disappears, a complete nightmare)
â°â⧠has god-like accuracy with any projectiles and has mending on her bow because she hates how expensive it is to get a new one with maxed-out enchantments and argues about how itâs so much better than infinity once she made the switch. you need an inventory slot with at least one arrow anyway, so why canât you just have the full stack when you can always pick up more by killing skeletons? it may be a bit pretentious of her, but she might mock you that you just have a skill issue when she sees you being a bad shot before giving you some tips on how to improve.
âââ .°Ë⧠peter pevensie Ëâ âš
â°â⧠favorite biome - fields, favorite mob - dogs/wolves, favorite flower - oxeye daisy, favorite wood - spruce, favorite block - diamond ore
â°â⧠from âthe skyâs the limitâ to âwhatever floats your goat,â the game isnât done until heâs gotten all of the achievements no matter how stupid they may be! heâs pretty serious about completing, but once heâs finished, you can see him start goofing off and being more ridiculous. unlike his brother who plays the pranks, he tends to be the victim of them and canât get revenge at all because his traps are a bit obvious (lucy always helps him out in that department). on the other hand, heâs great at pvp and fighting mobs, best with a sword, and likes to start raids to fight for fun with the âhero of the villageâ effect being a massive ego boost as well.
â°â⧠his builds are pretty boring and cramped since he never upgrades it as needed, his house is really just a box made out of planks from the surrounding area. he didnât think that you could create anything pleasing to the eye in a game where everything is made from cubes, so youâll need to open his eyes to the fact that he can construct whatever he wants and how the only limit is his creativity. he wonât advance any further than using two different types of woods and including cobblestone, it simply isnât his strong suit and he would much rather spend his time exploring and slaying his enemies instead.
â°â⧠he has so many dogs, itâs not even funny, you need to turn down the volume for passive mobs whenever youâre at his base because they are barking nonstop. itâs not intentional either, he just somehow constantly forgets that feeding them makes them breed and canât ever resist not giving them some steak when they tilt their heads at him. he gave up on naming all of them since he didnât have enough tags and dying all of their collars after building a separate home for them, but the original ones that he tamed in the wild remain in his bedroom. despite the number of dogs, he refuses to take any of them on adventures with them because he will cry when unnamed number two hundred-something dies after sniffing lava and holds a funeral with a proper burial place.

first impressions with edmund pevensie
x gn!reader; poc friendly
masterlist
⢠your entire relationship will be based on how and when you meet. the same is true with practically everyone ever, of course the conditions of a meeting will affect how a relationship grows. however, this is especially true with edmund.
⢠as his siblings can still strongly remember, he was nothing short of âa selfish idiotâ back when they first fell into narnia.
⢠if you meet him during that time, itâll take quite a long time for you to warm up to him, if that even ever happens. depending on your own personality, it wouldnât be too surprising if you never forgave him for how rude he was to you and the people around you.
⢠if you met him a bit later, maybe on his second time returning to narnia, youâd be more likely to not hate him.
⢠no matter when you meet him, it will definitely take some time for him to treat you well. heâll mess up very often but as those mistakes get further and further apart in occasion, you can tell heâs gotten to know you much better and is putting in effort.
